Things I need to do this weekend:
wash my car
go buy more chapstick
cut my hair
take care of email
hopefully work on Redbubble (https://www.redbubble.com/people/argentwhiskers?ref=artist_title_name&asc=u)
Promote Redbubble because I put a bunch of stuff up but was at work so couldn't post about it

My day started with REALLY bad news so I'm sort of. Numb & weird. But yesterday I picked up the flatbed trailer for the tinker's wagon project, & today I got it backed up to where I'm gonna do the build, leveled (front to back -- I need to get a good jack & jackstands before I do the side to side), & measured, & I have most of my shopping list for the first part of the build written up.

Also, I did dishes & snuggled cats. I might do a bit of cooking later on, or, honestly, I might say 'fuck everything' & go back to bed.

Working on a shawl. I have six days to finish it, because I want to wear it to the Distant Worlds concert on the 14th. I'm going to be cutting it close, but I think I can do it!

ALSO! I am opening an Etsy store! I'm not ready to promote it yet because it's still in baby stages. I'm hoping to get it at least partially stocked before the concert, but I'm not sure I'll have the time.

I got my flu shot yesterday so I'm having the dreaded Muscle Soreness in my right arm. Fortunately I'm left-handed so it hasn't interefered too terribly much with my daily Getting Things Done, although I am trying to take it easy because I also strained my left thumb. *headdesk*

I'm going to try to get some work down on my next embroidery project/housemate's birthday present tonight. I'm embroidering flowers on two tea towels and they have to be done by the beginning of November.

I'm forcing myself to take some space from a longfic draft, so I kind of don't know what to do with myself! But today I pulled out my flute for a little while, and it's always amazing how much better that makes me feel. Later today is cooking for lunches for the week, and I might go to the park and see if the swings are free. (The weather's not great, so there might not be kids out!)

But it's so exciting, we hit our initial fundraising goal within 13 hours, and now we're at almost 200% funded, which is our first stretch goal!

I went to a stationary store with fandom friends last weekend & acquired a calligraphy pen. I have yet to commit any calligraphy with it, however. I don't know what kind of paper is good to use for that. I didn't have money to get any when I was at the store. I did use cardstock another time, but that was with markers...
