I slept all day, but I did make good progress on my cross-stitch project yesterday.

I'm trying to write a post (essay? lol) exploring some of the controversy around RPF... I thought I was almost done with it last night, but then I realised there's still a giant facet of the argument which I'll look ridiculous if I don't explore. Gotta keep going!

I got all of my book review blog backlog drafted, written, and scheduled. I should be scanning in more family photos, but hey look internet shiny!

My laptop, Jeremy, showed signs of death last sunday so I backed up everything and then I'd planned to wait for my new laptop to arrive before doing any work (I didn't want to risk losing any work I did if Jeremy's issue degraded). And then Jeremy's condition stabilised to 'I wouldn't even notice the problem without looking to it'. Also new laptop has some quirks that I don't like. Between that and the time I spent setting the new laptop up I delayed my weekly arts too much. Still, New Laptop is pretty good at handling games that are a bit too much for Jeremy so Jeremy can be ART (and everything else) LAPTOP!
I managed to do one pixel art, one digital art, in which I tried out a technique for drawing eyelashes and then the image was too small to show them, and today I did a drabble on a hypothetical 'after the end' for The Magnus Archives. Now trying to get that MUSIC TRACK sorted.

it seems i can't write journals anymore for whatever reason, even though i really want to. thanks, brain! /s

other than that, i've finally finished a story: 40 chapters, a little over 23k of words. also did the math, and i've written about 50k of words since april.

yesterday was very unproductive and today i'm very meh, but i will try to write something.

Late check-in but I wrote 3 penpal letters on Saturday and 1 today/on Sunday. (Technically, it is 00.48 in my timezone but it still feels like Sunday so close to midnight.) So Saturday hit my target that I had hoped to achieve exactly and today, well, I fell short by 2 letters but I don't mind very much because I still got 1 done and also got all the numerous other, far more time-sensitive things on my to do list done. I also did some envelope crafting, which I did not expect to get done at all and which was quite relaxing and fun. It was a great weekend!

Ideally, I would have liked to do some truly creative writing on a personal project and also fanfic and not "just" penpal letters but I have not had the spoons to do that in years so it is okay for me not to have made any progress on that this weekend. Maybe soon.
