I'm working in the yard today, which admittedly isn't real creative, but it needs to be done. My tomatoes have self-seeded from the fallen fruit and I have to get the old dead stuff out.

I've cleaned the burdock and it's in the fridge until we get carrots and broccoli.

I'm going to work on customizing a paper toy. :)

I was just talking about pickled burdock root with a friend yesterday...I use burdock root in a couple of my herbal recipes, but I've never eaten it as a food. I'll have to try it if I can find any.

You can sometimes find it in sushi - it's orange and looks like carrot.
