- I've made more progress on my display cabinets.
- I haven't made any more progress on getting my laptop fixed; thanks Dell.
- I'm working on fixing up two plushes I have: they've been washed and repaired, I just have to finish sewing the one back together and re-stuff them.
- I've started the stuff for a blog post about alternative stuffing to polyfill, but haven't gotten too far. The natural materials I'll be comparing are kopek, wool, cotton, alpaca wool, and mohair.

me on several occasions while drafting where the firelight fades: anyway my overarching goal with this story is, write the single scariest Akumatized Marinette Dupain-Cheng | Ladybug fic in the fandom, and make y'all realize how easily it could have been so much worse

AO3 bookmark dated 2021 June 15: this was one of the heaviest, most intense things i have ever read. probably THE most heavy, intense thing. definitely need to reread it in order to fully wrap my head around the story and the prose. it was wonderful.

I drew a couple things for people this week, and I'm gonna start on another thing for someone else soon; it's been a minute! Feels nice to get back into the swing of things, re: creative energy. ;u;

I've had a couple of days off. I haven't done any of the writing I planned to; instead I wrote two different pinch hits. This is some kind of accomplishment, ahahah.

For the first time, I'm stuck with multiple in-progress projects, and my brain isn't sure how to deal with it, lol.

Trying to stick with one at a time for the moment, and finish up at last the first part of a fic for Unconventional Courtship. I think I've only got one more scene to finish up chapter one, but for some reason I've been dragging all week on trying to get it done.

I'm working A LOT. Trying to sort out life/family/scheduling stuff for the summer, and it's a big stressful headache. But there is the potential for lots of fun stuff.

I drove 3 hrs round trip to attend a very good friend's birthday hangout, and it was awesome.

Looking forward to watching a bunch of movies. Maybe they'll inspire some fic?

Hoping to write some Guillermo/Claude stuff for What We Do In The Shadows (the series). I think it's a great ship, but I don't think I've seen anything on AO3.

YAY MY ZOOM LOOM CAME THIS WEEK! This is a small weaving loom you can use to make squares. Of course I tried it out immediately! I finished the first square and started a second:

I also designed several knitting & crochet patterns. See, my crafting competition is celebrating its 10 year anniversary (!!!) and has asked all the teams to design squares to celebrate. I'm captain of my team and also a designer, so I threw together some designs for my team to discuss.

I then got really excited about one of those designs and started crocheting it. I'm about 3/4 done, and would finish tonight except my wrist says NO. So I am faffing about on the internet instead.

I decided NOT to push myself to finish the blanket in time for the graduation party. I'll just make sure to finish it before he leaves for college. Instead, I'm making fingerless gloves so he has something to open at the party. He could use the gloves too, he'll be going to school in Wisconsin.

I'm intrigued by the [community profile] drawesome community that [personal profile] minoanmiss linked above. I love the idea of drawing, I just... don't do any. But maybe I will start. I've subscribed to the community (but didn't join it, as they asked only artists participating join) in hopes it will inspire me to start doodling.

...though it occurs to me I *did* draw this week, it was just digital drawing! My knitting/crochet patterns were all pictures. It was really simple designs, but hey, I drew.

Also, folks are starting to post fills to [community profile] genprompt_bingo which has me idly contemplating my bingo card again. Hmm.
