I also made some chocolate dipped strawberries for the neighbors who plowed our sidewalk and most of our driveway, and I'm gearing up to work on some laundry next.

After my planned writing time got taken over by illness I thought I might have to default on a ficathon, but I managed to get the story done! I wanted to expand it much more than I managed to, but it is done. Hopefully my recipient will enjoy it.

I have to survive the first week of the semester. Would be nice to write a little on the novel this week too

Finally finished a treat for an exchange last night. I posted it and am so glad to have this assignment done.

I have been keeping up to a daily word count so far.And I'm juggling a few different wips art wise. The studio I'm a part of is having a show with a tarot card theme and I'm doing one based off "the lovers". I'm thinking a bit of a inspiration from the painting "the Kiss" by Gustav Klimnt. (( at least in some color scheme and some repeating shapes.)) First time I've tried to emulate a artists style somewhat so we'll see how this goes.

I'm also going to a art lecture this week. Looking forward to that.

After some discussion I now have three (3) readers who want to read the novel after I'm done so that means that I need to actually finish it. Eeek.

It also means that I will need to actually type up what I've written long-hand, and that's not really something I've been looking forward to. I mean I've been working on it, but I also don't want to work more on it...

I did more quilting practice! I finished the 2 wonky 9-patch blocks into fully quilted and bound... cat beds. I'm about to start the binding on the teddy bear quilt. Then, on to cutting squares for the memory quilt!

Oh and I also created a resume. I need to start job-hunting earlier than I had expected. I know it's gonna be okay, but yikes anyway.
