September's almost over! Just Create Weekend

I'm kinda ugh, so I'll be brief. Whatcha working on? Whatcha done? Wanna look back at the month and share your accomplishments?

Writers, your post will be up at [community profile] writerscafe  in a moment, but you're always welcome here as well.

I've already picked up the living room and my bedroom, washed dishes, and gotten my prescriptions and a flu shot. I'm doing laundry and going to sew on a button. Tomorrow is taking care of mail, figuring out my health insurance, cleaning my car, making waffles, and cleaning the bathroom. And I need to gather up the stuff for next week because I'm not coming home every night anymore.

More tinker's wagon progress! I'm hoping to be able to start on the front wall next week.

This week I've been working on braces to hold up shelves -- shelves that are part of the load-bearing structure of the wagon, so they've got to be sturdy. But I wanted them pretty, too, which means they have a lot of curves to be cut, & my cordless jigsaw is ... old.

I got a new jigsaw Friday, thanks to a gift from a friend, & WOW, it is making everything SO much easier! I've got all the braces cut now, & I'm hoping to have most of the work on the shelves done this weekend.

In pursuit of this, I'm about to go out & see if it's time to Paint All the Things.

Today I washed some pillows and towels and hung them to dry. I have also made peanut butter brownies, which came out really well. I visited a friend and gave her some of the brownies. 😁😁.

I still have some data entry work that needs to get done today. And more laundry to do. I also need to go to the office tomorrow, to clean my desk up before a client visit this upcoming week.

I hope the pillows dry in less than a zillion years! The brownies sound _delicious_.

The brownies were very good but I'm glad to give away half my batch. We also have birthday pie in the house too.

The pillows were dry at 4ish and I hung them pretty early around 8 am. Texas heat is good at drying clothes and pillows.

Ahh, yes, being in the Land of Dry helps a lot. I love painting stuff here in New Mexico, especially when I'm outside -- by the time the first coat is on, I can start the second coat.

That's nice. I love hanging clothes outside esp in summer. I wish I had a nice clothesline.

Work! I'm in the middle of learning a bunch of web-programming related things. And prepare myself for Inktober, hoping that I'll make better than last years. And probably using Janelle Shane's prompt lists.

I'm sorry you're ugh! That sounds like a lot of really stressful, necessary stuff that everybody hates doing. Good luck!

I made a quiche yesterday! I had never made one before, but I had an odd assortment of ingredients that just happened to be perfect, so I thought I might as well try! I looked up a couple of recipes online and went with them as best I could, and it turned out pretty good! I'm so happy - I can now add quiche to the arsenal of Things I Can Cook!

I started playing Final Fantasy XIV so my crafting mojo has died as I'm enthralled by this shiny new-to-me game. But I did post a few items to my Etsy store, so at least I got something done!
