 Happy Friday! I've had a pretty good week, how about you?

I did some non-fun stuff I've been putting off (put stuff on ebay and picked up my room including putting away clean laundry from probably a month ago. And now I can use my weighted blanket again because it has a clean duvet cover on it) and am almost done with a small fun project which I'm hoping to finish tonight.

Neat! I've thought about doing maille, but I really don't need more hobbies. :)

I find chainmaille a very satisfying and rewarding hobby that gives you an excellent result for your investment. If you ever decide you want to try it out, I can give you lots of advice.

For example, I always recommend the beginner to intermediate kits and instructions from Blue Buddha Boutique on Etsy for beginners, and I strongly recommend starting out using two pairs of the Eurotool long-handled pliers BBB sometimes sells as a very reasonably priced starter-level mailling plier. ;-D If you find your first venture satisfying, I can make recommendations for going deeper down the rabbit hole, too! ^_^

I'm slowly working on some Tunisian crochet projects but I keep getting distracted by video games, oops.

LOL! Yeah, between games on my phone, Twitter, and the cats it's amazing when I get anything done.

I got a muscle spasm so couldn't finish my ebook as wanted yesterday, but I DID finish a short story by hand!

(I am kinda sick of February being Bad Health month though!)

I have practiced calligraphy a bit

I've been writing a great deal of fanfiction since October, when I finished watching The Dragon Prince Season 1. But recently Season 2 came out and a ton of the people involved in my corner of fandom jumped to a new ship. Plus tons of my ideas that I never completed and posted are now extra-canonical rather than just, probably not canon.

At the same time I've been getting a ton of hits and kudos on my older posts at AO3, and even the occasional comment, which is absolutely delightful. But it's hard to keep going when I feel like a lot of my audience wants something else, and espeically the people I've really gotten a lot of inspiration and support from over the past many months.
