I've managed to set up a weekly game on my Discord. I'll be gm-ing Monster of the Week for four people on Monday nights. I'm excited!

Otherwise, haven't gotten much done.

Got a blog post done! Checked to see if I could fix my squeaky chair and it doesn't look like it (seems like the source is the screws holding the wood to the mechanism)

Ran orders to the post office. Replaced a shower head. Did dishes. About to take a shower in which I can properly rinse my bits. IT WILL BE GLORIOUS

My life is upside down. It's not all bad but adjusting is hard.

I've been in touch with all my Fandom Trumps Hate creators finally.

A friend in The Dragon Prince fandom ran Viren Week and asked for prompt suggestions & I suggested a bunch but never filled any. It does seem to have been quite successful however, on Twitter & AO3 & maybe Tumblr too, so that's good.

I've started drawing again for the first time since maybe 1995 or so. I'm trying to fill up my whole sketchbook with terrible drawings so I can move on to the bigger sketchbook my daughter traded me & start filling that with very-slightly-less-terrible drawings.

If anyone has any suggestions for resources to learn drawing that's welcome. Video isn't preferred but I can try, especially if there are subtitles.

I'm slowly working on a cabled crocheted hat, but it is rough going because I started a second character in Final Fantasy XIV on Easter and all I want to do is play the game right now, oops.

That's one of my favorite patterns. It's so cleverly designed! I am convinced the designer is a genius.

Started making the coding work for posting where the firelight fades to AO3. By which I mean the work skin and three chapter drafts exist. I can't use one of the La_Temperanza tricks I wanted to use, because AO3 is pretending away the hanzi that I want to display—they work fine when they're in the HTML of the work proper; it's just that to make the "desktop users hover and mobile users click to replace text with translation" toy work, the pre-click-or-hover text has to go in the CSS, and that's not working—but the wrapping text around images is beautiful, and the linked footnotes are a working solution to the translation problem.

…now if I could finish un-placeholdering uh every scene in the last three chapters…

i... cried. that's basically what i've been doing since friday. haven't written a single word on my latest project since thursday, but i've been thinking about it, so... progress? yay?

i've actually written half a post about said project, but can't bring myself to finish it. i keep asking what's the point, but i will try to finish it anyway.
