I ran a tabletop rpg today, which was fun. I haven't done a ton this week, but I binge-watched Good Omens for the first time, worked on Mom's christmas present which I'm not sure I want to finish since I'm mad at her, read some, and did some other things I don't remember.

And... it doesn't seem like the best time to work on your mum's present if you're mad at her. Regardless of what your overall relationship is.

I am currently only 900 words away from finishing nanowrimo! I actually finished the main story I was working on, so started a first draft for another to fill out the rest of the wordcount.
Did a pixel. Did an art... technically. No music yet.
I also now own a car!

I loved it - I'd read the book and seen all the stuff on Tumblr, just not gotten around to watching it.

I got the part of the present that would be difficult to do in my office done, so if I decide to finish it later I can.

Currently taking a break from crocheting a purse. I just finished round 20 of 28. I hope to finish this month so I can submit it to my crafting competition, but it'll probably come down to the wire.

I already have plans for next month. It'll be a really busy month for me as I need to make 1.3 pillows for presents (one is about 2/3 done), an epic secret project that will take about 30 hours, plus I was really hoping to finish my Peppermint blanket for myself. I'm so eager to start the secret project but since it's for my crafting tournament I need to wait till December 1st to start (items have to be made that month for three of the challenges).

LOL, I hear ya. According to my Ravelry notebook I have over 20 WIPs. Some of those are long hibernating, and there's a few that will probably end up frogged or just considered done, but yeah, I have a LOT. It's fun to start new projects, isn't it?

Yikes - I'm sorry about the present situation. But glad that you've been reading and watching things! I think that definitely counts as doing something, since even taking in new media feels like an effort when I'm in a Particular Mental Space.

I've been struggling a lot with writer's block and imposter syndrome and creative worthlessness feelings lately, but I wrote a little story this weekend and decided I'd rather write something that doesn't meet my standards than not write anything at all, so...maybe I've turned a corner? We'll have to see.

Yeah, the tournament definitely isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it suits me well. It must, because I’ve been playing for seven years now! It’s fun to come up with projects that meet the themes. I’m going to be making stuff anyway because I really enjoy crafting, so might as well get some imaginary points for it. Plus I’ve actually won some prizes from the tournament a few times (stitch markers, and two digital patterns).

Purse is going well. I completed the body and am now taking a break from the handles.
