I haven't gotten much done this week because I still just feel like sleeping and playing video games. I'm going to bed at a better time tho (midnight vs 4am).

I've been prepping for a DnD one-shot that I'm running tomorrow. (If you want in, I only have three players. It's on Discord. It's in Humblewood, a third party world where you play as birdfolk or animal-folk)

I drew Harry Potter last week and I think it came out pretty well. It's on my DW! I did a small amount of writing by playing a solo TTRPG...I'm not finished it yet, but I got the character, a few side characters, and setting down so far. Today I finished a piece of art for a rarepair event, though I cannot show you it until the event starts :c

My plans for this weekend is mostly to play games, but I'm hoping to get some art studies in too.

Mostly been crafting in game, which I've been posting about in my journal. I ended up at number 15 carpenter on my server. Not bad at all, though I had hoped to get in the top 12 as they get a shinier title.

I did start a crocheted shawl, and am slowly knitting a blanket. Doing a row at a time of the latter, as it's one piece so each row is LONG.

I got another fragment of nine lives, snake's eyes written and published, and I made actual progress on where the firelight fades 15!

and my birthday present to me, a commissioned illustration of firelight 6, came out beautifully, and now there's podfic of my Christmas present

I might have been interested but either tomorrow a Numenera cliffhanger is resolved (if the GM is well) or I will be finishing a small Mausritter campaign that was supposed to be a oneshot (if she isn't well.) Either way, I want my spoons.

I was planning to sleep today. That happened less than intended.
I haven't written my post on what I've done for my new year's resolution this week yet but I finished the drawing part of the art I was working on, now to Databend like 40 different images from that art and make a massive .gif out of it. And use that as an opportunity to make a databending tutorial.
Databending is the art of "glitching" files by editing them in ways they are nto meant to be edited. For example, opening an image in audacity and editing it like a sound file. It's not considered true glitch art because that's supposed to be from bugs when a program doesn't do what it's supposed to, but it sure makes good "glitch" effects!
also still learning 3D art in blender. I showed a friend the donut I made and she wanted to eat it.

I have been fairly unproductive this week. I made some really good banana bread the other day. I need to write down the edits to the recipe so I can replicate.

I haven't posted here in a whiiiiiiiiiiiiile because I was p much just keeping up with work (kinda) & then falling into bed? But now that the holidays are over AND I've caught up FROM the holidays I'm getting stuff done again! This week I got a BUNCH of work done on Tyrava (my tiny house/vardo), the inside walls are more than halfway done now!

I *almost* finished my fic! I did finish the chapter that was supposed to be the last, but I think it leaves a few too many loose ends, so there's probably going to be a (short, dammit!) epilogue, too. (Though if the chapter count stays the same in draft two, the epilogue will make it sit at a nice even 20, so I'm okay with that.)

Hey! This is my first time posting here, but I'm working on a cross-stitch of the bedrock geology of Maine (pattern's from BlondeBoxshell on etsy, fyi). I'd love to finish it soon, because I'd also love to do a different cross stitch for a friend's birthday at the end of February... In any case, I got some work done on it this past week--not as much as I'd like, but some!
