I'm at Readercon (virtually) this weekend and thus had to get up at the god-awful hour of 7am (stupid time zones)

How early! Are there any events in particular you were looking forward to?

I haven't been producing much in terms of fanworks since I'm at the interviews stage of dealing with the job market, but I really wanna try my hands at a Hades batch of icons. Trying to farm the last achievements for it in my time off and it's an ever pushing grind haha

A friend actually 'hired' me to make a logo for their podcast!(They're paying me in a bundle of my choice). So that's what I'm working on art wise. I've also decided to start a game of Stardew Valley in korean, even though my skills in korean are nowhere near ready.

It's not early for them, but they're on the other side of the country so everything is three hours earlier for me. I had to give up on one of the panels and go take a nap. I'll watch it later. There was a panel on Hacking and Infilitration I really enjoyed and Ursula Vernon is one of the guests of honor and I always enjoy listening to her. Not one of her panels, but I'm also looking forward to the Future of Sex tomorrow

I've had a really unproductive week - major slump in motivation for all sorts of reasons - but I've been writing a bit this morning and have my fingers crossed that I'm pulling out of it at least partway!

My medium is jewelry. Today was an "unpack the big shipment" box of raw materials. 3 hours steady work made much more pleasant by listening to Readercon 31 panels.

I posted a piece of art just today, a redraw of an artwork I did about a decade ago! And I am steadily working on a story. :)

I finally felt the urge to write/a sense of inspiration for a little while today. It didn't last long, but it was such a refreshing feeling, after almost two weeks without it. I still haven't written this week, but I feel like I'll probably be able to again soon. (This sounds a wee bit overdramatic, since it's really only been a two-week slump, but still!)

I did a short blog post about Gather.town and the gather space I made.

I've mostly been working on a floor plan, which 80-90% done now. I need to finish some lights, stairs, and the roof.

And this afternoon/evening I'm going to work more on unpacking my toys to get them into the display cases

I'm glad that you can go back to the panels and watch everything else later! Dealing with timezones can be a bit of a pickle, but worth it in the end. Also "future of sex" is one hell of a panel name.

I was so pooped this weekend, I opened this page and never posted, lol. I just started a new job last Thursday. I did some meal planning & baking this weekend. Wheat buns to go with sausage & pepper filling, which was tonight's dinner. Also, I made some biscuits for breakfast sandwiches for the week.
