My two creative goals this month are to finish the rough draft of the last chapter of my WIP, and to paint my entry for NaMoPaiMo. (A... niche annual event in which you paint a model horse.) I've made about the amount of progress I need to on my fic, though not enough to get ahead, and haven't even started the model, oof. Tomorrow night and into my "weekend" I'll be hanging out with my sibling, which I'm looking forward to, but I also know that I'll probably not get much done while I do, heh.
Oh shoot, usernames as inspiration sounds hella cool! I don't know if there's a lot of people I'd be able to do that with, but I do love the idea. I hope they find it flattering!
I started on my partner's robe. This is my newest & biggest knitting project yet. I have a nice new interchangeable needle set to use and lovely blue gray wool yarn to knit with too. I'm looking forward to having a project I can work on for a while.
Holy mackerel, a whole robe! That sounds amazing; I don't think I'd have the right sort of attention span for that, but I admire the heck out of anyone who can manage larger projects.
I managed to write the bulk of two exchange fics due on Monday. Unfortunately, I have things to do and RL is meh so my inspiration is running low. Hoping to at least get to the finish line and then I have a week to tidy them up.
I've got all the pieces finished for a crocheted Amish puzzle ball that I'm planning to send my grandma, and one third of it sewn together.
The ear/hijab savers I dropped off at the community college on MLK Day also seem to have missed their destination/gotten misplaced/something else, so I whipped together another twenty-ish that I hope to drop off on Tuesday.
I finished and posted a fic, silveradept finished and posted a fic of mine for me (well, posted was this week, finished was weeks ago), and I drabbles twice but those aren't up yet
I understand that. It's always something here. I'm still trying to work on the house while I create. I did a 3x3 bingo card so I could do it without doing a 5x5 and being overwhelmed. I don't know if that helps.
I'm making steady progress on niece's graduation blanket, sticking to my "one row a day" plan. It's crocheted, so rows are tall, and this means I can finish in plenty of time before her graduation.
Otherwise, the Ravellenic Games have started! This is a challenge on Ravelry where you craft stuff during the Olympics. The goal is to challenge yourself. I have decided to make one snowflake and one duckling a day.
I also reached a major milestone in a project I've been working on for over four years! VERY EXCITED!

I hope you have fun hanging out with your sibling! Rest time is important for creativity, too.

It was a good time!

I also drew something based on someone's username, and dropped them a line asking if they wanted to see it, but they haven't responded yet.

I finally set up my blog and published it! It's been about 9 months in the making so I'm really excited and pleased.
