This is a low-pressure community designed for a few things:

1. weekly (or more) free work sessions. Let us know what you're working on, then sit down and work on it! Share your progress, talk a bit, and work and encourage each other.
2. To get encouragement on your creative work and otherwise
3. To share links to things you've finished or good things you've seen lately!
4. To recommend creative events, fandom-related or otherwise
5. and to be a resource to answer questions and get feedback.

Saturdays are the scheduled check-in day - if Silvercat17 hasn't gotten the weekly post up, feel free to jump in! Also feel free to post for encouragement other days, or to share events or interesting links, or anything else related to getting things done or being creative.

FAQ

Q: Dreamwidth is weird. How do I use it?
A: Look here for some help.

Q: Does (activity) count?
A: Yes! While JustCreate is designed to encourage creativity, we all have other stuff we have to do too. Cleaning, laundry, organizing, gardening etc, are all welcome in just create sessions!

Q: (Member) is a bad person. What should I do?
A: DM me. I'll need receipts, unless you're somebody I trust (and I'm pretty sure they'd all provide them anyway), but I'll ban any abusers and bigots.

Q: Do I need to have a Dreamwidth account?
A: No! Anon is on, but please sign off with some sort of name.

Q: Can I post fundraising or commission info here?
A: No, but you can link to blog posts about it, including in their own post (for example: Commissions open! See here)
