I have made progress on my big cross stitch project, Fabulous Women in History. I almost completed one more woman (forgot some backstitch and still need to do the nameplate), and I have a plan for making the edits. There's something satisfying about doing math and then getting out the scissors and tape. :D
I have also made a plan for some sewing projects, inspired by seeing some gorgeous purple denim at Jo-Ann. Skirts are the simplest thing ever! I have a pattern for an A-line skirt with super amazeballs pockets. Difficulty: I do not currently wear skirts. The current plan is to go to Jo-Ann and buy 5 yards of their cheapest denim, 3 yards of the good stuff, and a bolt of their cheapest calico for mockups while I'm there. If I really get my act together I'll have a coupon.
