I've been watching a lot of Inuyasha and started sketching for a vague idea for an isekai/portal fantasy using some of my conlangs and concultures. In that vein, I started a world map so I can figure out where my conlangs are in relation to each other.

I'm crocheting a new griffin! This one's coloring is going to be inspired by scarlet macaws. (I've got example pics of previous crocheted griffins linked in the comments here.)

I also did some editing on a Twine game I made for a convention in 2020, to make a con-neutral version and separate it from the original "parent" con. Mostly find-and-replace bits at the moment, though if I add any new material in the future, it'll be to this version, rather than the con-affiliated version. Hopefully I'll be able to link the final version next week!

Next up, I aim to create something resembling a good night's sleep 😂

I've written 2 poems today, hoping to get in a bit more toward completing my card for the Land of Oz Bingo Fest.

Too much. Working on a lavender biscornu (the front half is almost done and the back is very minimal) and casting on for a sweater. Earlier this week I finished my Gilbert Baker shoelaces and put them in my boots in time for pride and noticed that I had some other laces I needed to finish if I am actually going to make the shop I was going to.

Should be writing, should be cleaning, etc., wrote a blog post last night that I really didn't need to, I feel all over the place unfortunately.

No vampire turnips, but lots of different folklore 'facts' and a couple of stories. Like that eating certain turnips turn rabbits into wolves

I have made progress on my big cross stitch project, Fabulous Women in History. I almost completed one more woman (forgot some backstitch and still need to do the nameplate), and I have a plan for making the edits. There's something satisfying about doing math and then getting out the scissors and tape. :D

I have also made a plan for some sewing projects, inspired by seeing some gorgeous purple denim at Jo-Ann. Skirts are the simplest thing ever! I have a pattern for an A-line skirt with super amazeballs pockets. Difficulty: I do not currently wear skirts. The current plan is to go to Jo-Ann and buy 5 yards of their cheapest denim, 3 yards of the good stuff, and a bolt of their cheapest calico for mockups while I'm there. If I really get my act together I'll have a coupon.
