My brother asked to borrow my crocheted brain slug for a costume contest, so I decided it would be a good idea to take a quick break from the new griffin to make a couple extra slugs and demand a family photo of him and his kids brain-slugged together 😁 Photo is not yet available, but I bet it'll be adorable!

I also managed to get my new website up and running for the re-named Anime Twine Con! It's a Twine game that simulates an anime convention, hence the name. It was originally made for an extant convention, but for various reasons I decided this year to re-brand it for an imaginary convention, to go with all of the imaginary anime I badgered some friends to help me come up with, and to make it more universally appealing in general. If you want to give it a try, you can check out the game here! The game's actual homepage is going to need some work yet, but I'm happy to have this much done at least.

Plans! I'm making... plans. Hopefully some of them will turn into real things. I printed out extra copies of some of the Fabulous Women so I can cut them out and put them back together in the order I want. (Difficulty: It was a stitch-a-long and NONE of them are at the same scale as each other... I tried doing some math and printing them at appropriate scales; it's close, but some of them still aren't an exact match.)

Bonus: Past Diane (and Mr Diane) made some plans back in April. We're going camping at Joshua Tree in a few weeks! Surprise, Present Diane! I had completely forgotten about this until I flipped my calendar to October.

I kept working on the mushroom choir piece for my mother's Xmas present (my gallery is at https://querki.net/u/jducoeur/cross-stitch-gallery/#!cross-stitch-gallery but hasn't been updated for a while, like a year or more). I also pulled Elisabeth out for the cool season (she's too hot in the summer). And I started pulling pictures off my phone and editing so I can update my gallery with slightly more up to date pictures.
