Just Create - Soda Bread Edition

It's the weekend again, how did that happen?

What are you up to? What have you gotten done? How are you doing?

I finished the prototype t-shirt 1.0!! I don't hate it. Of course all I can see is all the things wrong with it, but it came out okay and I learned a lot.

I might give this pattern one more chance before setting it on fire and trying a new one. But only because printing & assembling & tracing & cutting out PDF patterns is such a hassle.

Here it is in all its wonky glory. T-shirt, made by my, front view

Thanks! And now I know what happens if you fail to stretch the neckband during construction. :D

So cool you're learning to make your own clothes, specifically t-shirts! The quality must be so great to be able to choose your own fabric and do your own stitching.

Not gonna lie, the main reason I'm doing this is because I know exactly what clothes I want, and they don't exist!

I am laughing at myself for waiting so long - and buying a serger - before trying this. This was all done on my regular sewing machine. Despite my complaints, it was honestly much easier than I expected.
