I've been dragging, but today I have stew in the crockpot and I'm about to start some Irish soda bread to go with it.

*waves hi* Ooooh, the stew sounds great. I haven’t worked on any projects this weekend, but I cleaned up my room quite a bit and attended an art workshop/feedback opportunity for a piece of public art that’s being built near my neighborhood.

I finished the prototype t-shirt 1.0!! I don't hate it. Of course all I can see is all the things wrong with it, but it came out okay and I learned a lot.

I might give this pattern one more chance before setting it on fire and trying a new one. But only because printing & assembling & tracing & cutting out PDF patterns is such a hassle.

So cool you're learning to make your own clothes, specifically t-shirts! The quality must be so great to be able to choose your own fabric and do your own stitching.

Not gonna lie, the main reason I'm doing this is because I know exactly what clothes I want, and they don't exist!

I am laughing at myself for waiting so long - and buying a serger - before trying this. This was all done on my regular sewing machine. Despite my complaints, it was honestly much easier than I expected.

I'm doing alright! Went figure skating and got some good practice in. I wish I'd drawn something too though.

I finished the editing on chapter three of my podfic, but otherwise had a very collapsed weekend.

I started a new stitching project (a small one, https://www.pawprintings.com/onyx.htm) and did some hours on that. And otherwise tried to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather.
