I need to do a few things:
- set up my new writing laptop (my other laptop is appropriately named TheBeast - it's huge and heavy and not comfortable to use on my lap). This means installing things and getting rid of all of Windows 10's crap
- weed some in the backyard.
- Finish one of the stories I'm doing for the WIP Big Bang. It's very close and then I have some good news for the check-in

Weeded, cleaned the tub, took a shower, changed bed linens. Made some progress on the computer. I need to decide a name for her (I have TheBeast and Enzo, my entertainment computer)

oh nooooo but it is always sort of satisfying getting rid of the bloatware on a new laptop, a small strike back against The Man. Do you know ShouldIRemoveIt.com?

I'm lucky that the refurbishers didn't put a bunch of bloatware on it, so it's just Windows intrusive garbage

* I gotta finish some more poems, my goal is to finish the bichromatic by the end of the month/week;

* work on the new chapter of my main project 'cause I can't keep procrastinating it forever;

* gather the courage to crosspost the smutty rainbowfic fills on dreamwidth;

(adjacent to the above: perhaps finish the dick or treat 2023 fills)

* finish adding the colors/prompt lists to my notebook.

I worked on a swatch for a knit top. I'm using different yarn then the pattern calls for so I'm doing a lot of searching.

I'm going to be flying next week so I started a smaller project. Knit flowers with scrap yarn. I'm almost done with the 1st one & I should be able to get a few done while flying.

went to a book festival and a king Tut exhibit today which was fun. I need to get back to writing however

I'm a little horrified to discover it's the weekend again. I did some value sketches for paintings I've done that were too flat and unsatisfying, so I can try repeating them with a more bold design.

The King Tut exhibit sounds so cool. I saw an ancient Egyptian exhibit last month by chance and it was a big memory of long-forgotten enthusiasm
