As you might have guessed, my back hurts a lot. But I'm working on a reference sheet for a Thundercats oc.

I'm also in talks for a job, but it means relocating for five months to a city eight hours away. So that's scary/exciting. (Anybody know somebody in Silicone Valley with a room to rent?). It won't be for a while, because there's a background check and all the foofaraw to go through first.

I am slowly unearthing my craft room after the move. And making lists! Lots and lots of lists.

I am happy to have Monday off. Some sort of crafting will happen. It might be practicing cutting strips for quilting. It might just be trying elastic instead of drawstring in my ever-evolving pajama pants. It might just be cross stitching the cover of my sewing notebook. Who knows?

I am looking forward to either getting Mr Diane to find a new home for all these random arts piled up in the craft room, or just sneaking them elsewhere myself, so I have enough room to do sewing projects.

a style of 襲の色目 (kasane no irome, “color scheme of layering garments”), featuring a red outer layer and a reddish-gold inner layer, and worn in summer (from the way the color scheme resembles the coloration of the petals of certain varieties of lily)

as well as 'lily' itself and 'f/f'

I started knitting a new hat on Thursday and I'm about 6 in into it. I have another knitting project on hold, my bralette top. I've got to do a new technique on it so it's waiting till I have brain space and time for it.

- Two job interviews
- Edited half of my novel
- Worked on Jedi Survivor
- Kept up with RP tags

Next week:

- Job interview on Tuesday!
- Finish editing novel.
- Start editing other novel
- Write on something
- Read a damned book

After swearing last year that I wouldn't run such a fest, I caved and created summerofthe69 on Friday. It's still got some polishing to go before it's ready to open to the public, but it's not officially starting until June 9th regardless, so.

I have Very Good Ideas Always and in no way will regret this.
