I've made a bunch more icons for the various rainbowfic communities, mostly the mod account, and I'll be sharing the bases on my blog soon.

I still need to get my desk cleared off and my office and bedroom cleaned.

I've spent a little time noodling with quilt designs (like I need more of those!), and I've showed off the pretty fabric to half a dozen work friends over Zoom/Slack. Everyone is very excited for me to make this quilt lol. But it's TOOOOOOOO HOT to even think of anything that involves plugging in my iron.

I have been doing yard work and catching up on what administrivia I can. Heck, I can even see large swathes of my desk! I feel like I'm in a good position to get some crafting done, if it would just cool off for a few days.

I'm house/cat sitting for my brother and his wife and hoping the 20 y.o. diabetic cat makes it the whole week.

Also trying to get some work stuff done and up against a deadline for a story

I finished my July Break Bingo squares (I'll fix typos and stuff when I wake up before posting the two last oneshots + the masterlist).

I figured out that my writing sprint got updated. Synthwave and instrumental metal work much better for me than lo-fi and similar slow/too chill music.

Who knew that ignoring Discord and Twitte would make me actually write?

I was edging a blanket I made, decided I didn't like it, and now I'm unraveling to redo it. I also need to get more yarn and look up patterns for baby blankets since my best friend and his lady are about to become grandparents again. O_o
