 How are you doing? Did you have a good week? Did you have an awful week and want to vent?

It's another sunny Saturday in Southern California after a rainy week. What are you up to today? What have you made this week? Do you want to share any pictures or links of cool things you've seen?

I've not done well this week and next week I may have jury duty. But it's a nice day and I'm going to stay inside and iron and do laundry! Because my life is great.

I have been ENTIRELY FAILING to change the oil in my van for like WEEKS so I am going to do it TODAY, y'all pile on me until it's done, all right?

I have a load in the washer and I'm trying to decide what to eat for lunch, but we have no leftovers and nothing in the freezer but pot pies.

I've eaten some mushrooms. Maybe I'll have the other half of the bag of popcorn from yesterday.

Basically everything is frozen, so no. Dad is making ableskivers (Danish round pancakes) tonight. I had some peanuts. I should be okay till snack time.

Why am I such a sucker for the cats? Heidi is upset that she can't be in my room (because I'm washing my sheets) or my office, where I am (because she keeps jumping on the thing I'm supposed to be ironing), so I put one of the blankets she likes on the chair that already has a blanket Spooky likes so hopefully she'll shut up and go to sleep. (I should just outwait her and she'll go to sleep under the couch. But she's SAAAAADDDDDD)

Can't get the damn oil pan plug loose, this is why I try to never let large people with pneumatic drill guns change my oil, off to improvise a lever.

See, for me having leftovers available is the only way I eat, so the occasional making of Lots Of Food For Leftovers is a Thing. Having other people around to do some cooking is a lovely thing!

Mom cooks one night and Dad and I each cook two nights. Generally we have some leftovers, but this week has been weird because I wasn't here for dinner last night so they got pizza (and I don't really like leftover pizza). And it's the end of the week. Somebody (with money, so not me) needs to make a grocery run cuz we're running low on milk.

I've found some probably fixes BUT fortunately the first one I read said BUY A NEW PLUG FIRST which, yes, it would be difficult to go get a new plug once the old one is out & I've drained the oil. >.>

I finished the piece I was working on last weekend, and I experimented with colored pencils and did a couple of character portraits! (Portrait 1 and 2, and that piece from last weekend)

Today I've been doing lots of practice sketches for a new piece that I hope to start working on for reals in a bit! :D

I finished my book (it was a comic anthology, so a quick read) which means I get to move it out of my To Be Read pile! Yay!

And I put away my laundry! I still need to put my weighted blanket in its cover and make my bed, but I'll do that after dinner.

Dad needs to get dinner done because I'm hungry and getting depressed (side effect of the welbutrin - my mood plummets with hunger)

The next bit of the current most insistent WIP needs to be terrifying and devastating, for reasons including character deaths. (Temporary, which our heroes could assume from experience in very similar circumstances, but cannot at the moment.) I'm pretty sure that's why I don't wanna write it...

It IS fun! But oh, am I tired of knitting with black yarn!

Before this current doll, I knitted Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, who wears all black. The current doll I'm knitting (Akstar from Final Fantasy Brave Exvius) *also* wears all black! It can be hard to see your stitches with black yarn so it takes extra concentration, and I am so ready to be done. Should finish today!
