What are you working on? What have you finished? What do you need encouragment on? Are there any cool events or challenges happening that you want to hype?

ALSO: somebody else will have to do the post next weekend, as I'll be in Albuquerque for Bubonicon! (it's a small literary sci-fi and fantasy convention) (I'm also going to try to go to the Rattlesnake Museum)

I just had to frog two rows of this granny square blanket. I would be more annoyed but it's the first big boo-boo of this baby blanket and I'm not working on a deadline or anything, so I don't mind. It's not like granny stitch is particularly difficult - I think I'll only need a podcast episode or so to catch up again.

I have written a microfic, cleaned my room, gone to therapy, edited two other microfics. That's about it this week.

I crocheted some baby booties for a friend of my grandma's. Time will tell if they are too small and I have to crochet two new pairs or not. In the mean time, at least they're cute.

My current project is planting bulbs that I bought recently. The first bag of irises went into the purple-and-white garden yesterday. The second bag of irises (these are solid orange and yellow/purple) went into the developing flower garden under a maple tree. There is still a big bag of crocus to plant.

There has been steady progress in making a skate bag from old quilting strips.

So far: foam panels have been cut. The strips for the sides have been measured and cut. A zipper was purchased today.
