For January I had PLANS. I had 3 projects I was going to focus on. I got absolutely nothing done on any of them. Zero; zip; nada.
I've messed up my shoulder; first physical therapy appointment is the 13th of this month, so no playing the drums or rotary cutting anything. I'm not even sewing the pajama pants of many pockets - I'm working a bit too hard so haven't cleared a space in my craft room/office. I'm also straight-up dissociating due to US and world events.
The one thing I have been doing is cross stitch. I made some progress on the Haunted Graveyard, but the light is NOT fantastic, and counting is hard some days.
I needed something utterly mindless so I started on the fourth Christmas Pusheen; I've done everything except several acres of light gray. Not gonna lie, I don't know what my go-to for mindless cross stitch will be after that.
Also playing a lot of World of Warcraft, reading some wonderful short stories by Sarah Pinsker that I got for Christmas, and watching mindless police procedurals on TV (Shetland; Year of the Rabbit; Prime Suspect (okay that last one is not actually mindless but Helen Mirren kicks butt)).
