With Tumblr in danger once again, I'm creating guides to Dreamwidth! There's a post I want to make soon about the role of icons on DW, and I really want to include some communities where people can find some free ones to use and/or learn how to make them. Anyone have any suggestions? (dreamsheep is already on my list 😉)

Trying to put together a youtube channel about my city's best cycling routes. The concept is pretty simple, "straight(ish) line" back streets over noisy, smelly, main road infrastructure, but the research is enormous (a city of 5.6 million people that I often call "the Paris of the South Seas") and how to do the alternative cycling culture here justice is a many-headed dragon. It's still hidden because I'm trying to get my head around the storyboard for the pilot. And while I've done some "screentest" shooting, there's not a clear picture emerging for style and format yet. Episodes will be 14 to 15 minutes is about all I've got as a hard rule at this stage. And the name, "Backcycle." Oh, also that nebulous idea, above, about quiet, sometimes straighter back routes through residential streets.

It's a start, right? That's why I keep bashing my head against the wall.

I've been getting better on consistent creativity this year (1 drawing every day) but I want to get back to writing.

Specifically this fic I've outlined all of, and completed half of, that has no purpose but self-indulgence, but I'd like to see it all completed. Literally any progress on it this week would be good because I haven't touched it in months.

I am editing and writing a lot! I love the chance to rewrite a draft once I've put in all my notes and made it clear what needs fixed.

Today, though, I need to crochet and watch hockey. Because the hockey game comes on in 30 minutes, I'm going to edit a bit before it comes on.

ANYWAY, I've been doing stuff instead of becoming a pumpkin after work, which is nice too!

Oh, I still have fanfic to post today! ...Fanfic I will soon be running out of, if I don't write more than I have been, buuut... I've a lot going on. I don't want to stress myself out over what's supposed to be an enjoyable hobby! :) So. Some sock knitting and some comfy writing it is tonight! After the fanfic posting, :)
