Just Create - Three Weeks for Dreamwidth Week 1
What are you working on? What have you finished? What do you need encouragement on?
Are there any cool events or challenges happening that you want to hype?
What do you just want to talk about?
What have you been watching or reading?
Chores and other not-fun things count!
Remember to encourage other commenters and we have a discord where we can do work-alongs and chat, linked in the sticky
I'm a bit pooped, so here's just some bare links about 3 weeks for Dreamwidth:

2. I worked on more perspective and I'm FINALLY making some head way, it's glorious. I think continuing to study this fundamental for the rest of the year is the best choice.
3. I realized what was going wrong with my comic during this first round of editting! So... Hopefully my composition and choice of what to draw will make the story more pleasing and coherent now.
4. My art style's becoming more me?
I think my next goal is figuring out how people balance making comics and shit with other stuff because I seriously feel I'm getting closer to figuring that out and I REALLY wanna be more prolific than I am rn (and more comfortable posting stuff).
Anyway... Good to be back! Good luck everyone.

So I do want to say thanks for the kind words of encouragement!
But despite all that, it IS fun to try and I hope you're still having fun while trying to navigate balancing and scheduling as well. :D

I've been posting to my journal here as well! It's fun!

Not as much as I wanted to get done but I just got a new (well, not NEW, but new-to-me) video game and I keep losing track of time when I'm playing it, lol oops.
I'd really like to finish that drawing so I can get back to personal projects!

I've gotten back to working on my website. With all the fuss about what's going on at Tumblr I've restarted posting some meta there, though now I'm back to the Project of Compiling The Links, which is good, but also not my original intention.
I am at the point of my novel where I really need to reread to understand where I'm going and now I'm tempted to just start rewriting because it really needs rewriting. Aside from this I need to get to knitting for my cosplay because the convention is in like two months at this point and I barely have the vest done, so I really need to get going if I want it done in time.

Having started rewriting a novel from scratch myself, I totally get you on that - sometimes it's just gotta happen. Good luck!

I agree, the Internet should be slower, and things should stay where you put them. The lack of object permanence on the web is its own issue, a major one. Maybe I should make a zine about it... haha.
I'm doing my best on the rewrite. Good luck with yours!

In solo boardgaming I still sometimes see people making blogs or websites to log their playing sessions or write reviews for games. That is always fun to encounter.

Welp, now that I’m effectively finished with university—at least, until I decide to go back for a master’s—I’ll at the least be full-sending into outlining my current big Pokéfic project while job-searching besides. I’d like to have finished a couple of other fics by now (esp. according to a loose schedule I’d originally set out for myself for the rest of the year), but the hype’s unfortunately been flowing differently these past few weeks; that being said, I have half a mind to make up for my prior blogging tie-in plans with a series of posts on the apparently pretty interesting Hundred Line instead…
…And I should probably come up with something to do for this ‘three weeks’ thing, huh?

I have two short stories I want to work on so that's a pretty full docket

And then, eventually, I'll get back to writing more :3 But one thing at a time!
Hi!
* What are you working on? What have you finished?
- Working on an acrylic painting, it needs to be finished on Wednesday. I’ve been struggling with this one, I think mainly because the painting is quite large and acrylic paint dries so fast, that you don’t have much time to blend colors. I’m going to start experiment with oil paint after this one.
- Finished: A weekly fanart pencil drawing of a Sapphic couple I love from a Spanish telenovela
* What have you been watching or reading?
Reading a few Spanish fanfics. I’m still learning Spanish (240 days Duolingo), and I’m happy that I can already read things in Spanish with the help of lookup up a lot. But still it’s challenging.
Watching not much, to be honest. Only the Spanish telenovella I’m following. I’ve been wanting to see a few selected episodes of Black Mirror when I find the opportunity for it.
