I have some sketches for rainbowfic that I want to finish and/or scan, and I have a website for a friend that I really need to work on. And I wanted to sketch my the next armor evolution for my Digimon for the Animon game I'm in.

But it's really hot here.

I worked more on my comics. Even started drafting another and I like the concept itself!

Started writing my Spawn analysis about Todd Macfarlene's paneling style.

Made some Knuckles themed icons for fun and practice

Otherwise just adulting by the edge of my seat ;___;

Binged watched ExtinctZoo's vids (highly reccomend)

I... have medical tests on Monday that require me to NOT EAT ALL DAY tomorrow and I'm whiny about it.

The writing has been going well! The editing we don't talk about....

Voting continues for Summer of the 69's 2025 fest! It'll remain open through the end of Thursday, and chosen themes will go live by the following Sunday.

Also I came up with a poetry format and wrote a poem in it. Until I learn that someone else created it first and called it something else, I'm calling it "countdown poetry".

In the mean time, it's Mother's Day weekend in the US, and I work in the hospitality industry, so wish me luck and hope exhaustion hits gently.

I am apparently never going to post about the trip I got back from A MONTH AGO so I should really just punt and post some cross stitch pics.

Celebration of Needlework is in Nashua NH next weekend and I am super looking forward to it. With my sense of timing, that means I will finish Deer Trail this week and have no WIP to show off.

well finals are over, i still have to put in grades but now I'm free. I did start a cryptid original story today. I'd like to keep that rolling

WHEW. Just finished that larger drawing I've been chipping away at for weeks. I'm not entirely happy with how it turned out BUT I'm glad it's done.

Still drawing every day, I'll be out with family all tomorrow and busy helping them with various things next week/end so I'm not going to set any big extra goal for myself this week. I think if I just keep doing a little drawing every day and maybe finish 1 thing on my to-be-read pile that's enough.

For Three Weeks I wrote many things (and drew one decent thing too) including a fanifesto that I think is way too long to be a fanifesto? Because it is Apparently ~13 pages long? And right after posting it I saw one that was just 5 paragraphs. But whenever I try to draft an abridged version in my head I feel like I'm leaving something important out.
I also finished translating one volume of a manga yesterday, so after a little break I'm going to switch to typesetting (putting the translation onto the pages), which is cool.

I joined a site called Do Art Daily weeks ago and I've been using it to try to make myself draw once a day, even if its a shitty doodle on my lunch break. Social features seem to be limited, I don't know who follows me, but I always feel too intimidated to comment.

I'm having issues where my usual art takes 2-3 days to finish, so I'm trying to simplify by using aliased art and less special effects. But aliased art is still taking awhile, so I need to figure out how to just simplify things more to draw more.
