I forced myself to block out some time and took a diagnostic GRE test, and I’m actually really happy with my baseline scores! There’s certainly room for improvement, but I feel a lot more confident even though my brain is fried.
I found two testers for one of my knitting patterns, yay! But boo, one of the testers said there were errors in the pattern but there isn't. I can see why she thought there was an error, and I gently explained why she was wrong. I'm going to add a bit more description to that area of the pattern so others don't make the same mistake.
Today I am placing hair on my latest amigurumi. It's a secret project so I can't share pictures. Once I finish the hair I start on the clothes.
I got more designs up on my Redbubble shop (https://www.redbubble.com/people/argentwhiskers/shop?asc=u) and worked on my binder of arm and core exercises (which I need to actually do consistently, but one step at a time). And last night I finally made meatballs.
It's been really hot and I haven't felt like doing much
I finally started chipping away at the backlog of my review blog. Got two new reviews posted this week and tonight I'm going to work on my current neverending overly complicated cross-stitch piece.
I did some more stuff with art commissions. The learning curve continues to be steep.
I applied for a job!!!
Then I asked for fic prompts on twitter, with the idea that I would write small things, but the first one didn't end up very small. I'm trying to spend no more than two hours on the actual writing part, but I keep getting carried away, or having my brain stall and having to restart many times.
I also created a secret identity to post some other fic and got very appreciative comments, which is cool but also kind of a weird position to be in.
