It's been a while since I've been very active on Dreamwidth, oh man. Trying to get back in the swing of things.
I just completed and posted my first ever Big Bang! The Transformers Big Bang was a great, well-organized first experience for me. Ending wordcount was 57k. Previously, the largest completed work I'd ever posted was less than 14k.
I have been starting WIPs across many fandoms like there's no tomorrow and have been struggling to finish them (a mix of falling in love with concepts/premises but not knowing what I want to do with them & in some cases having a vision but not having the focus to follow through,) and it looks like having deadlines helps a bit. I'm still kind of overwhelmed by everything I have started, and how to finish them all, because most of them are things I want out in the world someday...
Speaking of deadlines, there is a multifandom Polyship Week on tumblr Nov 19-26, and my next (self-imposed) deadline is going to be to wrap up my first draft of a FFVII poly fic I have started, to post the first chapter on the 26th, 'free day.' Fingers crossed.
