I made thumbprint cookies with some of the fancy jams we've bought. I'd like to find a cookie dough that is more convenient to work with, but we agree that thumbprints are a great use for fancy jams.

I bought a new blend of Curry Spices, this one from Morocco, and tried making chicken soup with it. Needs some tweaking, but we quite liked the pearl couscous that we got to go in it.

Tonight I made the oat blueberry muffins again. <3

Today I finished most of the notes for my Holiday Poetry Sale, which will open in my blog on Monday. I'm so excited! :D

We had planned on visiting a holiday market tomorrow, which would have a lot of local crafters, but the weather looks like snow. :(

I'm working on some goals from this year's list that can be finished late in the year. Some really don't wrap up until the end.

We watched The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. It was surprisingly much more complex and interesting than the original. Currently we're watching Jurassic Park: Chaos Theory.

Currently reading Turns of Fate: An Isle of Wyrd Novel and A Shift of Means: Clear Springs Chronicles #2.

Trying to clear off two spaces: the top of the woodstove because Sunday is supposed to be extremely frigid, and a place to put the Moroccan mosaic lamp we just bought.

Today for me is going to be resting and planning. I took a week off work next week and I'm hoping to use that time to relax, get some things done that I have been putting off & visit family.
I have a new journal that I haven't used & I'm going to try to set it up & use it to help me plan.

I'm currently watching cutthroat kitchen for background noise. My partner & I are watching the anime my hero academia and the final episode is out today! I anticipate some crying and lots of talking about it.

I'm in the middle of listening to the Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern. It's very interesting but doesn't lent itself to listening in shorter bursts. So I'm hoping to listen to it while crafting instead of doing chores.
I'm also reading several manga. A Sign of Affection & Spy x Family.

On Thursday, I finished what I hope is the last piece of homework I'll have to do for my Associate's degree! Yaaaaay! I am now tentatively done with school forever, but I'm not ruling anything out for sure 😅

I finished the hockey fic. I finished it and want to edit it RIGHT NOW, but I won't. So, that's a thing I've finished. Working on, I dunno, still deciding that.

I have a work function tonight and I'm not really looking forward to even though at least I get to watch my hockey game first.

Umm, chores! I finished the grocery shopping for the week. So that's good.

* Working on:

I'm working on a series of one-page comics for an exhibition with a few artist friends next year. This is fun to do, but the pages always take longer than I expect. Hopefully, I'll get them ready on time.

* Watching / Reading:

Doing a rewatch of Fallout to get ready for the second season. I love the game series, and the TV adaptation is excellent. Looking forward to the new season! Reading is currently mostly fanfic based on a Spanish TV series.

I got 5 out of 13 scenes done for the animatic
Proofreading for this audio story is done
Finally came up with an idea for one of my scripts
I'm nearly done with this gif. Currently in the coloring stage



What do you need encouragement on?

In general, I would just love to see more engagement for my art pieces.

What have you been watching or reading?

Been really getting into Smosh recently.
Book-wise wise I've almost hit my 100-book goal for the year. Currently reading 3 books at the moment, but only really like one of them, "Borrowing Blue by Lucy Lennox"
