I just sent off a short story to a one in a million chance to be in an Overlook anthology (amazing pay, big publisher, probably have no prayer but I tried and I'm happy I did)

Now to go back to the new novel

Sounds like a crazy opportunity! How many stories are accepted into the anthology?

Good question. I'm betting one or two because it's already filled up with some of the biggest names in horror right now. I figure my chances are like winning a lottery but I couldn't not try

I have been continuing to get better at drawing. I have posted most of my recent drawings on my journal. I have been experimenting with different poses and such recently, and I think that it has been going pretty well!

Today was a Cybersecurity competition. Essentially, the way that it works is that we are given a bunch of hacking challenges wherein there is a string of text called a "flag." Once you solve the challenge, you input the flag and gain points, which are added to your team's score. We were given practice problems beforehand, and they were really easy, but the actual problems were a lot harder. Since I have been relearning HTML, the Web exploitation problems on the practice set were really easy, but much to my dismay, there was no web exploitation on the real competition:(

I wasn't able to fully tinker with the things that I wanted to in robotics, but the tinker phase officially begins this week, as I shouldn't have any interruptions anymore.
