I'd been making good progress this week on preparation for picking up my new trailer in *looks at calendar* three weeks *screams a lot* until the blade on my (well, roommate's) circular saw decided to become too dull to use, & then was so tight I couldn't get the thing off.
So I switched over to working on inside decoration stuff I'd been putting off, & now there's a pretty purple shelf on my wall with blue glass bottles & a nice oil lamp on it, the pretty lap quilt I bought in Hawai'i is hung up, & I made hooks & stuff to hang my jade plant up instead of leaving it on the back of the toilet for Hades to knock over AGAIN.
... & then I was p00ped, but then I heard someone show up next door! I was hoping it was my neighbor, but it was a friend of his who was perfectly willing to unstuck the circular saw for me, & now I'm deeply involved in finishing up the straightedge cutting guide I was working on so I can cut plywood (or, indeed, anything) in a straight line.
But I think I'm stopping after that, & the right angle cutting guide can wait the hell til tomorrow, cos I'm still p00ped.
So much! We finished inking AllFam so now we have review copies of the ebook, and we just did all the filming for the Kickstarter video! Tomorrow, I'll be taking a shift at Fanexpo to spread the promotional Riso postcards! It's all very exciting! :D
Been mostly working on a shawl for myself. I want to get it done by September 14th and it's rather time consuming because it's complex lace and beads. But my, is it gorgeous!
I had startitis last night and started a hat, heh. It's easy to knit. I think I needed a break from the shawl.
Had insomnia a few nights, so I crocheted some ducks because they are cute and quick.
I'm new--my name is Sinistmer, and I do a mix of writing, drawing, and experimenting with comicking! My art goals this year are to do one full drawing and one comic a month, and yesterday I finished this month's drawing! I've also been working on my main writing project on my commute this week.
As for what I'll do today...I might get caught up on typing or read submissions for my critique group. I do have some home responsibilities to attend to, and I'd like to go to the library.
I'm looking forward to hearing about everyone's projects!
I finished my chainmail coif and learned how to make Dragonscale weave continuous, as you can see from the copper muscle toning/weightlifting bracelet I finally finished (I couldn't find a clasp that would work well on such a heavy item, so it had to connect with itself!).

…still never comiced before. Certainly not digitally! Which is how I've been envisioning the damn thing!

Oh and I wove in some ends on a few cotton dishcloths that were otherwise finished.
