Finished a hat! it fits, but I'm a little disappointed with how tall it came out. Because it's so tall, it's hard to see the pattern on it (wavy lines) because the hat wrinkles. Oh well, still glad I made it. It was a fun pattern to work.

I plan on working on a crocheted shell stitch hat today. Right now I'm on the ribbing. That's my least favorite part of crocheted hats.

It's pretty! But I see what you mean about it being too tall for the pattern to show. (I wouldn't have if you hadn't pointed it out, mind you.)

You could ... stuff a bunch of stuff into it so it stands up tall & tell people it's a half grown gnome hat?
