Well, this week I finally posted the first chapter of this fic that I've been working on for the better part of this year, and now I'm working on keeping my expectations low for the stats. ;)

It's a three-day weekend for me, so tomorrow my stepbrother and I are going to go on an extreme hike that will be WAY out of my comfort zone! I'm excited and terrified all at once.

Also I baked rolls this morning. :)

The hike tomorrow sounds fun -- I hope you still have legs afterwards!

Haaaa. I hope that as someone used to reading Silmarillion fic you will not hate me for this one! I still can't quite bring myself to start the actual book, but this story takes place (in part) during some Silmarillion events, so I did a LOT of wiki searching and cross-referencing and occasionally just making stuff up. (AKA it is probably very wrong.) The world in which the story takes place is sort of Tolkien and sort of just my own headcanon universe where I do what I want. *hides*

But good luck/have fun with the screwing things to things! It sounds like an exciting project!

I mean I also read a lot of Avengers fanfic & have seen precisely two of the movies, so. & the Silmarillion is ... it's a LOT.
