It is Saturday, & we are here!

Today I am missing the Madrid (that's MAD-rid, New Mexico, not ma-DRID, Spain) Christmas parade for the first time in four years & I am Sads.

BUT I managed to get the tinker's wagon moved from where it was, stuck in the mud, to where it is now, safely parked on gravel in the driveway! & I didn't even do a Crazy Ivan to get it there! This time!

(I figured out how to make a layer translucent, I am proud of myself, it was not going to work with Ladybug at 100% opacity)

I missed a local art festival for the first time in many years this year and it's definitely a sad time. But there's always next year <3

For me, today I bought a Christmas present for a friend I'm going to see tomorrow! I need to get working on an art thing I want to make them too. There's also yet another art thing I need to kick myself into gear and work on! So hopefully art things happen tonight [profile] u@;

Been working on knitting a purse with a lot of cables on it! It's fun, if slow. I'm going to be really ambitious and line it with a pretty cotton liner that has sparkly butterflies on it. I also bought a zipper, which intimidates me, honestly. But if I pull this off it's gonna be awesome!

Congratulations on your Great Feat!

Yesterday I got a story finished up that I've been stalled on for literally a year and a half, so that's exciting! But mostly I was just resting and recovering from A Very Not Good Week. I'm hoping to get some of the productive stuff (like practicing flute and doing some cooking) done today.

Ugh for a crappy week, that sucks. But yay flute! I'm saving up to buy a flute again -- I haven't played singe high school. It'll be AWESOME.
