It is Saturday, & we are here!

Today I am missing the Madrid (that's MAD-rid, New Mexico, not ma-DRID, Spain) Christmas parade for the first time in four years & I am Sads.

BUT I managed to get the tinker's wagon moved from where it was, stuck in the mud, to where it is now, safely parked on gravel in the driveway! & I didn't even do a Crazy Ivan to get it there! This time!

What mighty deeds have you performed lately?

Been working on knitting a purse with a lot of cables on it! It's fun, if slow. I'm going to be really ambitious and line it with a pretty cotton liner that has sparkly butterflies on it. I also bought a zipper, which intimidates me, honestly. But if I pull this off it's gonna be awesome!

Ooch, I've never done a zipper, either. But the rest sounds entirely lovely, & I bet you'll figure the zipper out. They can't be _that_ hard, right?
