I'm trying to work on illustrations of mushrooms for a friend who likes them.

What I ended up doing today was intervening in a minor domestic dispute to prevent it from becoming a major one, and then, after someone else in the vicinity called the cops, sticking around to ensure the police reaction wasn't disproportionate. It's been a day.
