This week has been a mixture of personal tragedy and the world (or, my part of the country) being literally on fire, so I haven't gotten much done this week. But I did write down a bunch of notes for a story I'd like to write, and I had a local community action meeting today that actually felt productive for once.
(For the record: I'm safe from fire - but the air is so bad that I haven't been outside all day.)
WA, actually - not in the vicinity of the bad ones here, but the whole state is blanketed in smoke. It feels pretty apocalyptic here, too.
Are you near actual fires? We don't have ash, just the fume of Mordor obscuring the sun. But the air quality went down from "hazardous" to "very unhealthy" today, so there's that.
