I went back through firelight 14 and 15, which, remember how I was stuck at 111 words short of firelight becoming my new longest story? remember how I was stuck there for like a month?

remember how I was going off the Google Docs word count?

…yeah there were 119 words in the Dreamwidth draft that hadn't made it to the Google Doc

anyway I have actual forward motion now! and then I got distracted trying to figure out if any of the giant TV screens I remember canon having on various Parisian streets are visible from the park

I just finished a handful of small art pieces for friends for the holidays! It's been a minute since I've drawn a thing, let alone finish anything, and they're all in full color and everything! I feel accomplished, haha. ;u;

I've gotten all but two of my Christmas presents wrapped, including the cats' presents. I've also gotten one family's worth of gifts boxed up and ready to ship--only two more families left to go! Of course, you realize none of them will actually get their gifts by Friday because my ducks are not that lined up.

I finished a looong letter to a very dear penpal yesterday. It clocked in as 10 sheets (19 pages) A4. I feel very satisfied that I was finally able to finish it!

I plan on writing a few more short letters today but first, I need to finish my uni task.

I have been needing more sleep than usual and I do wonder if I infected myself at that contact with a positive person I had last Saturday. Well, I am getting the quick test on Tuesday and I guess then I'll see. I sure hope I am negative, though, because I am tired of being quarantined (since Monday).

I need to make its twin by Christmas but I'm already half done with it, and got smart: I'm weaving in ends as I go. I didn't do that on the first pillow and it took FIVE HOURS.

I am slowly working on some other projects, too. My secret project is nearing its halfway point. I'm at the point in my Drinking Games shawl where it feels like I'm not making progress because rows are so long. I'm hoping to get both of these done this month so I have a lot of work ahead of me.
