I'm maybe a chapter or two away from finishing the rough draft of a fic! I've been plotting it since late summer, so I'm excited to get the rough draft done, and start rewriting!

I have a fairly solid idea of the prologue of my fantasy novel. Not much of the setting and very little of the protagonist (it's a Sleeping Beauty retelling and every character in the original tale is a minor character in the novel for reasons), and let us not discuss how much I don't know about the plot and the major players, but I have the prologue pretty well thought out.

where the firelight fades chapter 15 may need to just go in the trash and I'll start again.

I'm pleased I got the damned pillows done on time, and pretty thrilled with how Alisaie turned out. It was a lot of work, though. Alisaie took over 33 hours! I haven't added up the time spent on the pillows.

I have a lot planned for the first quarter of the year, so I really need to get a move on. One of the first things I'm doing is writing up a summary of the main Shadowbringers quests from Final Fantasy XIV. I worked on that for about an hour and a half today. It's a start!

I met my weekl goals but, new year, new format. That I detail in my most recent blog post, but the gist is I am VERY roughly simulating my school life.
I finished writing a draft of a databending tutorial, next is actually working on POSTING it!

I sorted out my craft box last night and despaired at all the UFOs and potential Things To Make I haven't started yet. Currently formulating a crafting schedule to get through the Big Stack 'o Patterns on my shelf.

I know this is an old Just Create post but I wanted to say that today I got to GM a mausritter game!
We were supposed to play Numenera but last night the GM of that announced she needed a break because life happens.
So the other players and I used the generators on the site to make players and three floors of a map, I created a simple plot about the players investigating what happened to the mice that went to help a bat experiment on magic, and it went well! I'll be finishing it later.

And they liked the system too!
