I forgot it was Saturday so here's your late Just Create check-in!

How are you doing? How are you feeling? What is the airspeed of an unladen swallow?

Oh my gods I've been exploding with creativity this week!

The new tournament of my crafting challenge started, so I got a healthy dose of motivation from that. Plans for the challenges:
* Finish a crocheted shawl (already done!)
* knit a shawl out of green cobweb weight (very thin!) mohair and silk yarn, in progress
* crochet a beaded bracelet out of sterling silver wire. Materials arrived today!
* knit a racerbra, materials arriving on Wednesday.
* finished crocheting a purse, just the handles left

If all that wasn't enough, my friends started a kiss battle! I've always loved the idea of writing, but for years I haven't written because I've been fresh out of ideas. Therefore I'm thrilled that they started this, because I read some of the prompts and thought, "...I can do that!" And then did. I've posted two fics:

* https://seventhe.dreamwidth.org/437147.html?thread=6060955#cmt6060955

Tonight I worked on a third! It needs some polishing but I hope to post it tomorrow. I still can't believe I'm actually writing fiction again!

Yeah, it IS a lot. I had a mini-crash yesterday because all that activity isn't sustainable, but I still managed to work a bit on the knitting projects and write a first draft of a new fic.

The silk and mohair is soooo lovely. It was weird knitting with it at first though because I'm a loose knitter and am usually fighting to make tighter stitches, but the shawl I'm knitting is *supposed* to be knit at a very loose gauge! The end result will be this ethereal wisp, and it's going to be lovely.

Taking time to rest is good.

I tend to knit tighter then gauge so I have to try to make looser stitches. That shawl does sound lovely.
