I am very pleased that I finished some crafts at the last minute so I could get maximum points in my crafting competition. My team came in first in our division in February and we did well enough this past month to be up near the top again, so I'm very excited.

Been knitting the past two days. I have a blanket I'm working on as a graduation present for my nephew and I really need to get a move on it.

Also: gen prompt bingo is happening now, and I am considering requesting a card in hopes it would inspire me to write fic again. I had lots of fun answering two prompts of the Final Fantasy Kiss Battle my friends ran, so yeah, I think I want to do this! You can read my Kiss Battle fics at xnera

(ever since I watched Killjoys, all my fandoms will inevitably get Killjoys crossover/fusion fic, and Phantom of the Opera is no exception)

also got a kit to make pysanky and worked on it quite a bit. learning curve is steep, but I'm starting to get the hang of it

I have an interview on Tuesday, so I very to have that work out well

I did manage to get out to the garage this week and do some work on a project for a friend. It's not done, but progress was made, and that's nice. Still avoiding working on those miter joints. Only made it out the one time, but that's better than none.

But half the reason I haven't gone out again this week is because I've been writing a ton! I published my first thing. It's OC, not fandom, so I don't really expect anyone to be interested, but I wrote it knowing it had a likely audience of 2, and that's fine.

I am partway through another story now (just like an hour ago finished a draft of the first chapter). I'm not actually entirely sure where this one ends or how long it is, so I'm not gonna say my goal is to finish it, but I think I can manage a goal of finishing chapter 2, maybe.

Maybe I can finish my table saw fence extension and get some more work done on my commissions too.
