I spent a half-hour doing little doodles in my sketchbook, which is the first time in a month since I've last touched my art stuff. Feels nice. ;u;

I'm just about to start working on writing for the evening! Yesterday was a successful day - about 2400 words over two sessions, so I'm happy about that!

I figured something out about firelight 16 yesterday, and then I went to write the scene with that in mind and my cat decided to cat. she is extra smug and adorable when she is making sure I can't reach my keyboard.

Not too much, though I did print out two patterns today that I intend to do before end of month. Well, half of the patterns anyway - one is for socks and the other is for fingerless mitts. As my crafting challenge no longer requires you to turn in pairs, I am going to aim for one sock and one mitt.

I played the latest patch of Final Fantasy XIV and it was *delightful*. I've noticed more kudos on my FFXIV fic this week, probably because the patch had lots of innuendo from the pairing in my fic and people are likely looking for fic to read. My fic is at xnera if anybody wants to read it.

BIG NEWS: I bought a computer today! It still needs some setting up, but I'm hoping its presence encourages me to write fic more often, whether it be fanfic or original.

I actually started on some artwork of my Numenera character, Reidh, as a Blaseball Player, and I even published another chunk in my "AUs about Case Sports" series, complete with a short doodle.

I'm trying to Finish Stuff. I have way too many UFOs lying around and it's stressing me out.

One thing at a time! Not like, having one project at a time (that is impossible, obviously.) But thinking about one thing at a time! If picking a place to start is hard, just work on the nearest one, or write a list and roll a die.

"Finish All The Things" is a trap! Just finish one thing! (and then repeat when able.)

I have done very little writing and very little woodworking this week. Mostly I've been moping in bed.

I did work out some of the background for my current story with a friend at least. No words, but still progress of a sort. And I did a little sanding. So not quite nothing.

And I did get my first vaccine shot, so that's cool.
