I am still not managing much time out of bed, but I did manage to spend enough time in the garage to try out my shiny new rabbeting bit on some scraps. Excited to use it on some actual parts when I'm in a little less pain. Also think I've figured out how to cut those miters I've been putting off for so long.

Writing progresses very slowly, but I DID finally start writing the scene I've been stuck on. Progress!

Also I got ahold of an apple pencil recently and have been fiddling with 3d modeling on my ipad. Not sure how I feel about it as an interface yet.

I managed to make some quick projects for my crafting challenge. My team came in first for March and April in our division, and did well enough that we might take May, too. If we do we're bound to win this tournament. It's exciting because our previous best was second place, three years ago.

I am slowly untangling yarn so I can continue to knit on a blanket. Theoretically, I'd like the blanket done by mid-July as it's a graduation present and that's when the party is, but as long as I have it done before he leaves for school I'll be happy.

I'm also turning over a plot bunny in my mind, hoping it bears fruit. We'll see.

There is absolutely no pattern to the names. It's just whatever word I think of first.

Mom is helping me be more productive after I had a meltdown last Sunday. I got a ton of work done, but also:
- got my office picked up with all the projects that are out written down,
- almost finished hemming up my cloak and adding a clasp,
- worked a little in the garden
- worked on some 3d art in Daz3d

Today I'm going to glue together the ocarina that arrived broken (I got a partial refund) and finish my cloak during DnD - I have to sew closed the edges of the hem and add the other half of the clasp. Tomorrow I'm doing the garden trimming that I've been putting off before the rosemary completely takes over that flowerbed.

This week I have a doctor's appointment and should get a higher dose of Strattera and I get my second vaccine shot. And I have to pay my taxes.

And I'm getting at least part of my IKEA order for a display case. If I get all of it, I get to assemble it on Tuesday.

trying to get the hang of a lot of things I've set aside for personal and work reasons, my current priority is trying to draw and paint with a certain frequency again. just sketched an idea on paper that I will try to draw digitally at any point this week.
