I'm going to murder my dad one of these days because I won't get hardly anything done before DnD starts in 15 minutes because I woke up at 2:30 because he 'didn't realize it was his job to wake me up'. No, but it's nice if you ask if I realize how late it is!
First time I managed to see one of these all month! I've spent this month translating korean songs into english as practice (all but two and a half of them were covers of songs in other languages, one of them even was originally english!) but I also managed to, in a few hours, make an Angsty Blaseball Comic about my team's failure to resurrect one of our favourite players, who has been dead since March. It was my first time in years doing a furry character (because one of the characters I chose to draw is a werewolf).
And now Blaseball is over until whenever it starts again. Literally, yesterday, the current story arc ended. And on my Birthday too.
I "ran" a session of Untitled Ghost Game yesterday, a GM less game where the players collaborate on making a setting and NPCs for it and then haunting those NPCs. I used the main setting of my Mausritter campaign, and I'm looking forwards to including the buildings and NPCs the players created in the story going forwards!
Did a lot of cleaning and reorganizing and found some unused pens, which I've been messing and having fun with! Been playing around with colored pencils too, just having a good time. <3
I finished the hat for my grandpa's 90th birthday, but I still need to mail it. I'm planning on sending it tomorrow morning, but his birthday is the 4th of august so it may be late.
I made bagels the other day and tweaked the recipe a bit. I used bread flour instead of All purpose & boiled them for 30 sec on each side instead of 1 min 30 sec on each side. They came out ok. The dough was really stiff & a bit hard to work with. I may do a mix of bread & AP flours next time. But I think I will keep the shorter boiling time. It worked just was well & went faster.
I also spatchcocked & roasted a whole chicken yesterday. I don't cook with whole bird a lot but it came out pretty well. I roasted it with potatoes & carrots and made a cream gravy to go with it. Now we have lots of tasty cooked chicken for later. I'm going to make stock in the slow cooker today with the carcass. I'm hoping to make Dak- Kalgusu, korean style chicken soup, for dinner.

I've been very distracted by Final Fantasy XIV lately, so while I did plenty of crafting in July, I could have done even MORE if I hadn't been playing so much. But hey, I have shiny objects to show for my time in game -- I completed two relics in recent weeks!
