I am finally more-or-less over the poison ivy I got ALMOST TWO WEEKS AGO so there's been a lot of catching up -- making jewelry & taking pics for this month's jewelry feature, making bath salts, making MORE bath salts, making soap, writing blog posts to schedule for later. SO MUCH THING.

Wow, how weird.

I once got a box of yarn from Joann that I wasn't expecting. I thought for sure it was a screw-up, but it turned out my therapist actually bought it for me and had it shipped directly to my home. Still, was quite a conundrum until I found out!

I've had a burst of creativity this past week! I wrote a fic, but it's not posted yet (it's for genprompt_bingo and I'm holding off posting it because I think I can actually fill a line!)

Also, I am thinking of doing craft fairs this year, so made a bunch of samples to gauge how long things take to make and if they'd be worth the effort. Here's some pics!

This week I made a few more ear/hijab-savers, and am hoping to drop the lot (of nearly fifty!) off at the learning center on Monday. If I don't feel up to it, I might bribe my mom, who used to work there and might appreciate seeing her coworkers.

Aside from that, I also created and sent some important internal emails related to improving accessibility at our local anime con. I almost managed to create a phone call on the same topic (calling our local tourist board to find out where I can rent some extra wheelchairs for our attendees, since internet searches are being unhelpful), but only managed to get my ducks in a row today, and the place I wanted to call is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Another task for Monday, I guess 😂

Yay for making stuff! Yay for working for improved access! EXTRA YAY for ALMOST making a phone call except the place was closed! Seriously, phone calls suck, well done.
