Hey, I remembered to do this before five in the evening! Woo!

Anyway, you know the routine. What have you gotten done? What do you need encouragement on? What are your plans? What are you working on today?

I just went through all my WIPS, and intend to write 1000 words today if I can.

This week I worked on my niece's blanket, reaching the halfway point of the third stripe, yay! I also knit a bunny out of a garter square, here it is:

Garter Stitch Bunny

Today I'm working on a tote bag. It is a simple knitting pattern made with 100% wool yarn that I will then felt.

I'm not sure I mentioned this here, but I am thinking about being a vendor at craft fairs this year, so one thing I've been doing is testing out small patterns to see how viable they are. The Garter Bunny is one such pattern. Pros: Fast, Easy, Cute. Cons: It can't be firmly stuffed, and might be easy for it to come undone. Hmm. I'm undecided if I want to make more or not.

I did some research on the items that will feature in my next art pieces and made sketches of a comb, a table, a mirror and several lamps and candleholders.

Prefacing this with, I don't think I finished anything at all in 2021. So it is a joy and a relief to have finished a thing!

I got this birthday card in November and squeed audibly. It has the pattern inside! This is my first finish of 2022. Yes, I know, the pattern is actually different from what's shown on the front. It's still super cute.

Half an ass is better than none, so I banged it into a cheap-ass frame from Michaels and called it done.

I used all DMC Etoile threads for this. They're nicely sparkly and only moderately annoying to work with. The lovely tin of threads is descending into chaos.

The card is by Moonpig. I gather it's an online service. My husband's aunt and cousin in the UK have used it to send us cards in the US a few times. I'm tempted to see if they have more cute designs like this. Because I totally need more projects...

I was *hoping* to have the current chapter of my WIP done by today, but that seems unlikely. Never say never, but I think it'll be a couple extra days. Still, got some written on it every day this week, so even if the totals weren't impressive, I'm happy about it!

I'm in a bit of a slump since the end of the holiday push. I need to work on the novel I started for nano and one of my prodigal son long fics

I made it through the week, and honestly that is an accomplishment. I have dreams of ever writing again, but it is all very on hold right now . . . but I did boil some veggie scraps into broth tonight and that always makes me feel like a hedgewitch.
