 Hey, I need to get things done today and could use some community support. What are you up to?

I'm going to be making some things for the garden right after I have lunch.

Food is in my tummy. Gonna take out some more compost, bring in my supplies, and get working!

Okay, so the problem is that the raised beds are made up of two sets of boards set on top each other. They've got connectors that are supposed to hold them together, but they don't work very well. The boards have a gap between them and are bowing and dirt falls out. So I'm going to wrap some cardboard in landscape cloth to put between the boards and the dirt.

I'm only doing one of the three beds, because this year the other two are just going to have flowers and they're okay. They other one is going to have tomatoes (and I have a TON of tomato seedlings that I need to put into place) and from last year's results, it needs more dirt.

So I just have four pieces to do.

And I'm burning some incense because Dad isn't hear and can't complain. (He's bothered by incense and nail polish, but not by the dirty litter box that I can smell from the end of the hallway...)

First two pieces of cardboard cut! I lucked out. I just had to cut the box in half and then trim.

Ugh, are you gonna hafta haul all the dirt _out_ of the raised bed first, cos that'll BITE.

(Also how is it so easy to ignore litterbox stench.)

No, I'll just pull it away and slip the piece in. I've go the first one done, so I'm going to go test fit it / install.

(I know, right? And he won't let me get rats again because they smell too much. I don't get it!)

I dunno about my Dad. Mom is so happy I live here cuz she'd go nuts if she was stuck with just him. He has so many issues

... maybe'll I'll put on jeans first instead of going out in a t-shirt and underwear. And I was only wearing the t-shirt because the fences have like inch-wide gaps between boards.

It's only like 100 degrees F. And I'll be in the sun. I'll be fine~

oh NO that is TOO HOT, come here it's only 65F

And that's why I haven't gotten the garden done!

According to the digital thermometer it's 93. It was fine for the 10 minutes it took to put in the panel. The other three I'll install when I do all the gardening stuff.

That's why I'm doing this part inside! I just went outside to make sure it'd work. Since I have no time sense and I didn't want to end up with burnt bits, I wore pants and a hat!
