What have you gotten done? What are you working on? What do you need support with?

Date: 2022-12-27 12:42 am (UTC)LOL! That is the story of my life. I bet it'll come out fantastic!
Good luck with the house setup. That sounds super stressful, but super rewarding too.

Date: 2022-12-27 12:41 am (UTC)I have started construction on the prototype A-line skirt of doooooooom. I love how BurdaStyle puts "interfacing" on the packet in 8 languages, and then they just use a picture for piping tape like I’m supposed to know what that is.
By a ridiculous stroke of luck, I got the book "Cool Couture" for Christmas. Chapter 4 is all about piping! I made 2 piped pockets and I almost feel like I know what I'm doing.
Needless to say I am also designing a cross stitch project because why wouldn't I. I want to stitch a cute patch for the front of my notebook of sewing notes. In my enormous stash I've found a set of fashion plates from various decades that are exactly the right size to add some text to. Hmm, 1940s recolored to purple, or 1960s... decisions, decisions...

Date: 2022-12-27 12:47 am (UTC)I finished the motifs on Christmas Eve, and intended to work hard on the weaving in yesterday and today, but instead I've been faffing about on the internet and playing video games. I'd like to get back to it tomorrow, in hopes of finishing the blanket by the end of the month.
I have startitis, though. I won a Ravelry downloadable pattern recently, and chose a crocheted hoodie as my prize. I just picked up the yarn for the hoodie today, and I'm eager to start it because it's shiny and new! But no, I should really finish that blanket first...
