It was finally time for me to post the first piece of art for the Small Fandom Big Bang - https://silvercat17.dreamwidth.org/128597.html

I did some weeding, some writing, and ignored my extremely messy rooms.

I played some with Aeon Timeline but I'm still not sure how useful it's going to be, aside from easily figuring out who got drafted into the War or not. It looks cool though.

Finished a story and posted it to rainbowfic for a current challenge. It'll go on the blog tomorrow or sometime.

I made better demos for two songs for a charity song swap, and got the form submitted. I'm excited for this project!

But my current art obsession is making my brand new gig bag prettier. It was designed for the new acoustic bass, and structurally speaking was always lovely. But it came in boring brown, which is so very much not my style. This is a current progress photo:



It's a slow process to paint that piping, bit it's making me smile.

Sold two stories last week so I'm happy. I need to pull myself together to get some other writing done and maybe, just maybe clean something in this apartment

We’re out of town visiting my MIL. So, no Weekend Warrior projects this weekend. I hope to write this week on several prompts I’ve received on my March Final Friday Fics and my April Bingo Card.

Lots of things:

* Working on an amigurumi of Clifford the Big Red Dog as a commission from my mom (she's going to a baby shower next Sunday, and this will be part of her gift)
* Knitting a bag to be felted
* Crocheting a pullover hooded sweater for myself

Those are all actively in progress. I also have plans to do:

* a cabled knit hat
* finish a WIP, which one I'm still deciding on (it will be for a challenge on Ravelry)

I should be able to get the amigurumi done tomorrow!

I finally finished the epic poem I've been working on for several days, "The Imagination to Improvise." I even sent off the prompter copies.

I also shoveled out the firepit and built the core of the next fire, so that's ... sort of creative?

Yeah, the last one burned down really well. We gotta do something with all the sticks picked up in the yard, cleared brush, etc. so we pile it in the firepit and burn it off. Periodically I take the ashes out to put on the prairie garden; they make good fertilizer.
